We have been toying around with the idea of hiring a part time Social Media Manager. It's tough to keep up sometimes with everything and continually get content put out to share and connect. We would like to test trial on a Quarterly Contract. (3 Months at a time)

Below is a rough draft we wrote up earlier trying to give some details and explain what we expecting in a proposal and would be looking for. But Consistency, and reliability are going to be a key factor that we have not been great at doing!

Double U is looking for some help managing our social media platforms for Q3 2023. We would prefer to work with one of our customers or within our community over hiring an agency so here is your chance. We are looking for someone who can show professionalism and represent Double U, and all working dog owners in a positive and tasteful light, but also someone who can have some fun with it and keep things fresh. If you know our brand and reputation, If you know your way around Facebook, Instagram, TicToc or YouTube and are looking for a platform to show your skills, this might be a way for you to earn some extra money or Store Credit.
This will be a temporary opportunity on a trial basis for a three-month trial to start, We might rotate through a couple different people with a schedule, however, being selected for a quarter will not keep you from being considered going forward if you want to submit future bids.
What needs done?
• Create, schedule, and manage weekly content across our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube and Ticktok.
• Post a minimum of one video to our YouTube channel per month and share it on Facebook and Instagram. These videos could be product videos, lifestyle videos or more with approval.
• Write and publish at least one blog post for the DU Ambassador Blog every 60 days, though monthly posts are preferred.
• For Instagram, manage at least two reposts per week, and create 1/2 original content post per week.
• Develop a plan for our Facebook page, which includes, at minimum, one photo shared on Instagram and one meme or joke per week. Please outline your plan and how you will execute
• Must be able to learn/use Business Manager for all social media scheduling.
• Respond to messages on all platforms 5 days a week. These messages must be checked at a minimum of once per day Monday-Friday during our business hours of 7:30-4 Pacific Standard Time.
Applicants should have…
- Experience with our Company/Brand and the values that we believe and stand for.
- Experience with many of the platform Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and/or other social media.
- Ability to create engaging written, visual, and video content.
Good communication skills to keep in touch with our team via Email.
