A common troubleshooting question we receive is "How do I get rid of the Pink or Purple line on my handheld's map screen?"
The "Pink or Purple " line is to help guide you to a location. Often this happens by mistake, but it can certainly be frustrating when it pops up in the middle of a hunt.
Removing the Pink / Purple line from an Alpha:
Go to the map screen on your Alpha.
2. Select the menu button at the bottom of the page. This button is represented by three horizontal lines
3. Select "Stop Navigation."
4. The Pink / Purple navigation line will now be gone from the screen.
Removing the Pink or Purple line from an Astro 430:
Go to the main menu by pressing menu 2 times (MENU, MENU):
select tools:
select find:
select Stop Navigation:
The Pink / Purple line will now be gone from the screen.
Removing the Pink / Purple line from the Astro 320:
Go to the main menu by pressing menu 2 times (MENU, MENU):
Select "find" on the menu:
Select "Stop Navigation" :
The Pink / Purple line will now be gone as shown below:
