Hunting Dog Tree Lead with Chain

Whether you've been hunting with hounds for a long time or just getting into it, you've probably seen this style of tree lead before. Sunglo chain leads have been a popular setup with hound hunters for years, whether they're being used as a tree lead or tie out leash.

The lead is about 5 feet long, with 3/4" Sunglo and approximately 2 feet of chain. Choose from nine solid Sunglo colors, with setups for one, two, or three dogs depending on how many hounds you need to tie back.

Built for the Tree

The chain stays closest to the dog, which comes in handy if you've got one that likes to chew on everything while he's tied back. When you're making your way to the tree, the lead can be slung over your shoulder to keep it out of the way and your hands free. The Sunglo lead is easy to handle, and the brighter colors are a lot easier to find in the woods or when you're gathering everything up before heading back to the truck.

Easy to Clean

The 3/4" Sunglo is a coated nylon, so it doesn't soak up water and is easy to wipe or rinse clean if it gets muddy during the hunt. It's also water and odor resistant and won't rot from being exposed to wet hunting conditions.

One, Two, or Three Dogs

If you regularly need to tie back more than one hound, choose a two or three dog setup so your lead is ready for multiple dogs.

If you like having the option to add another dog only when you need it, our Sunglo Dog Couplers and Chain Dog Couplers can turn your single dog lead into a multi dog setup. Put the coupler on when you need it and take it back off when you don't.

Choose Your Sunglo Color

Choose from Red, Pink, Neon Orange, Neon Yellow, Neon Green, Dark Green, Royal Blue, Purple, or Black.

The brighter colors are easy to spot in the woods, and having plenty of colors to choose from makes it easier to keep your leads separate from your hunting buddies' gear. Pick a color you know is yours and there's less sorting things out at the end of the hunt.
