This mount is much more durable in the brush, and is one of the easier mounts to remove from your hound rig if needed.

The NMO SMA fender truck mount is compatible with Garmin devices. These NMO mounts include a pre-tuned whip that operates at 153 MHz specifically for Garmin devices. No additional adapters are necessary, as SMA connectors are fully compatible with Garmin devices.

Tuning this antenna: This antenna is cut and tuned for 153 MHz and will perform well for Garmin, however it allows the customer the ability to fine tune their antennas using an SWR antenna analyzer to achieve a best case scenario SWR. We suggest to leave the antenna uncut as Garmin devices perform best at 153/154 MHz, but the option is definitely available!
