At a price of only $29.99, the Garmin tempe ™ temperature sensor can be as indispensable to a houndsman as it is inexpensive. This handy tool can be clipped to a backpack, jacket, or boot to transmit ambient temperature data of the surrounding area, or paired with a truck handheld to monitor the temperature in a dog box. This is especially important for dogs hunting in extreme conditions such as severe heat or cold.
