David here wanting to introduce myself to the Double U team. Growing up along the western slope of the Rockies in a small-town Colorado community, my dad mentored me into a lifestyle with dogs a part of our every day, living hand in paw. He has made his living training bird dogs by preference and every day pets by necessity. Growing up, I became dependent on having a dog at every stage of life, to the extent my childhood Pointer delivered my wife’s ring down the aisle on our wedding day. The next chapter took me down a path building a pack of big game hounds aiding in pursuit of lion and bobcat, applying the training ethics learned in my youth. We now have four long eared Black ‘n Tans that have taken up residence in the house with us living a top the front range, overlooking the eastern plains.
