My name is Hampton Short, I am from Vance county, North Carolina. I grew up hunting whitetail with a walker club near home and quail hunting with my father’s pointers. When I was 16 I got my first beagle. I wanted to transition to beagle hunting to accommodate the smaller blocks that we hunt. From there I have grown my kennel to 15 beagles that I would not trade for the world. This past season my brother and I started training a small pack of rabbit beagles as well. From the first time I let my first pack of two beagles out of the box I have been hooked. It is my mission to spread the knowledge and passion of the hound hunting community with others.
