How to change an update rate on the Garmin Astro 430
To change the Update Rate on your Garmin Astro 430 follow these steps:
Go to main menu
Select Dog List
Select which Dog/Collar you would like to change the Update Rate
Select Show Info
This will bring to you to the collar info screen, at this point press the menu button.
Scroll down and select change Update Rate, at this point you will be able to select an alternative Update Rate.
The faster the collar updates the less battery life the collar will have, a slower update rate will help prolong battery life of the collar before needing to be charged.
