If you would like to customize the tones on your Garmin Astro 430 please follow these steps
  1. Go to the main menu
  2. Select "Setup"
  3. Scroll down to "Tones"
  4. You will now be able to either turn tones on or off completely or manage tones for messages, buttons, turn warnings, and proximity alarms
