I was born and raised in the heart of the Sangre de Cristo mountains of northern New Mexico where I currently reside with my horses, hounds, and soon to be husband. When we aren’t running our hounds on lions, bobcats, or bears we’re probably hunting for whatever else is in season, whether that’s big game or small. We live and breathe outdoors and spend our free time doing anything from fishing, to shed hunting, to packing in to the high country - all with our hounds in tow. I wasn’t born in to the hound world but my life quickly shifted to revolve around my ever-changing hound family after we brought home our first hound in 2011. Here we are ten years later + fifteen hounds happier, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. My hounds have taught me far more than I could ever teach them and have led me on some of the most epic adventures! I hope to keep the tradition alive by educating, encouraging, or inspiring others and hope to one day raise houndsmen/women of my own.
