To calibrate the compass on the Garmin Astro 430 please follow these steps: 1. Go to the main menu 2. Select "Setup" 3. Scroll down and select "Heading" 4. Scroll down and select "Calibrate Compass"   5. At this point follow the on screen instructions to calibrate your compass.
